Prophesying to Yourself

Now I know just like anyone else that is gets hard to trust God when things are hard. I will give you an example. Currently, I am trusting God for a miracle to get to Fort Worth in a few weeks. I am not really living it up financially since the hotel that I managed flooded last month I cannot bonus because we are not open. My cell phone bill is due and I don't have the money to pay it. I had another bill due but I got it delayed. (Praise the Lord!) I need to buy a plane ticket to Fort Worth so I can take this interview for this job on the 3rd of March. Oh and my brakes are starting to go out. All the while, I am really just trying to wait on God to provide me with what I need. There are a few times I almost called my natural father and asked him for money, but every time I almost did I felt the Lord stop me. He would remind me who He was to me. Now, this sounds so stupid if you have never been here before. If you have though, you know what I am talking about. I am talking about this blind faith that will take you out into the deep and if you don't keep your eyes on Jesus you will sink.

I have found myself prophesying to myself and saying what the Word of God says to me. 1 Cor. 2:9, Phil. 4:19, Heb. 13:5, Matt. 6:28-30, Luke 12:27, and Ps. 50. Its not easy looking at my situation and speaking life (God's Word) over it but I have to hold on because without faith its impossible to please Him. Hey, pray my strength in the Lord. I am holding on to anything that can spiritually sustain me right now. Be encouraged, trouble doesn't last always...I will be back soon with a testimony of His faithfulness!
