The Joseph Anointing

When you know that God has placed greatness within you, you also have to know that there is an awesome price that comes with it. Many times, I think of Joseph. I think about how in Gen. 37 when Joseph dreams the dream about his family bowing down to him. He shares the dream with his family. At this point, his father rebukes him and his brothers envied him. Isn't funny how people act when you have a dream? The very idea that he had the very audacity for such a young man to even dream such a dream! How dare he? I think of how they rejected his dreams and the hatred that filled his brothers ' hearts as they plotted to kill him.

Time and time again, when God has called is to greatness people feel the same way about us. How dare they think this and so? Haw dare they think themselves greater than us? How dare they dream that BIG? You cannot contain the blessing of God on your life so others may have a hard time swallowing it themselves. They cannot stop what God is trying to do. If one tries to they only further propel you into the destiny God set before the foundation of the world. If Joseph had never been sold into slavery he could not have gotten to the palace. People say all the time, " I had to go THROUGH to get TO." Even though many times the enemy uses people to try & derail what God wants to do in our lives. The very hindrance and pit that we find ourselves in is what gets us closer to than we know to accomplishing the GREATNESS (dream) that God gave us.

When God wants you to do it, He will allow your enemies to set you up to get you where you need to be. How could Joseph accomplish all that he had where he lived? He couldn't. So in God's divine providence, He let him be sold from his family's home into slavery from slavery into Potipher's house ( in charge of everything even in slavery) from Potipher's house to jail (another pit that looked like derailment)and finally from the jailhouse to the palace. God used this to get Joseph to the Pharoah in Egypt. How amazing is that? All the times we think God forgot He was merely use all the things work together for our good (Rom. 8:28) so that He could get the glory, not someone else and not us. Remember that a man's gift will make room for him and brings him before great men. (Ps. 18:16)

Have a blessed day,
