New Territory

9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez saying, "Because I bore him in pain." 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested. 1 Chr. 4:9-10 NKJV

First of all this is my season for new territory. God said it. I believe it. That settles it. We used to quote this scripture every Sunday after offering. We knew that the prayer worked and that God's proinciples for seed time and harvest worked - still work. The Lord spoke to me that this is the season to "Decree a thing". Its funny how you don't even unerstand what that means until it begins to happen. Let me first deal with what a decree is then I am going to really delve into this scripture as God broke it down to me. Decree according to Webster's dictionary means - 1. an order usually having the force of law 2. a religious ordinance enacted by council or titiular head: b. a foreordaining will 3. a judical decision of the Roman Emperor: b. a judical decision especially in an equity or probate court. So in other words, its the word of the King backed up by the law. So when the Lord said that the season I was in was not the season of possibilities, kindas or maybes - its the season of definite answers to those long awaited questions. He said, "if you want it then decree it. Speak those things that be not as though they were. You are mature enough now in your walk where you have a good idea of my mind. So go ahead decree it!" I am believing God for more power, more authority, more anointing and more love. More than that I am believing for more faith that I can trust Him better and be more patient. Time sometimes seems like the enemy when you have to trust God but He has time handled too. Back to the scripture, the first things said of Jabez is that his mother named him because of the pain he was born of. We gotta go through some painful things to get the blessing. One thing that stood out to me was that outta all the people named in the geneology of the chapter Jabez was one that was pointed out specifically. They spent a few extra verses talking about him. That is relevant because although he was born from pain he was named as most honorable amongst his brothers. He was the most reverent. He sought the Lord when his brothers did not. He prayed that God would enlarge his territory bu talso that the Lord would keep him fomr hurting anyone else in the process. What an amazing prayer! So sincere and pure of heart. He was honorable! Since he was so sincere in his request Gdd granted it. No questions asked. That is the Word. Ask in the will of God and He will give it to you - no questions asked. Whoa! That is deep. Lord, I thank you for revealing the Your word to me. Thank you for opening up scripture to so that I may understand what it is you are saying. Thank you Lord for new territory, new beginnings, and the season (and year) to decree a thing. Bless me Lord to enlarge my territory but not to harm anyone else while You are enlarging me. God thank you that fear is not apart of me or my life. I will be blessed. I will walk in complete authority, victory and healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen ( It is so).

But as it is written: " Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

1 Cor. 2:9 NKJV
